DUI Test Refusal or Breathalyzer Failure? Request Your Kansas Drivers License Hearing Within 10 Days
Your first court date may not be scheduled for several weeks, but the right to request a drivers license hearing regarding the possible suspension of your Kansas Driving Privileges has a time limit of ten business days or fourteen calendar days, whichever is later. The date of service will be recorded by the Officer on your DC-27 (Pink Form) given to you by the Officer.
If you're facing accusations of DUI in the state of Kansas, you'll have only ten business days from the time that you were served with the DC-27 to request a Driver's License Hearing. The Drivers License Hearing Request must be in writing and must be accompanied by a $50.00 administrative fee. Failure to request a hearing and pay the administrative hearing fee within this time period will most likely result in the automatic suspension or revocation of your driver's license, whether or not your criminal charges are ultimately dismissed. Given the severely limited time you will have to take action to preserve your right to drive, you cannot afford to waste any time in seeking the skillful legal defense of a Mission DUI attorney at The Law Offices of Charles R. Green.
When you hire the Law Offices of Charles R. Green one of the first steps we take is to request the Drivers License Hearing on your behalf with the Kansas Department of Revenue. We request that the Administrative Hearing be held in person and that any Certifying Police Officers be subpoenaed and present for the Hearing. This not only preserves your right to review but also allows you to maintain your Kansas Driving Privileges during the process.

Currently, the city is ranked as one of the top areas of growth in the state, as well as the country. The area's history, however, dates back much further than 1935, with beginnings that originated in 1825 when all of Johnson County was given over to the Shawnee tribe by the government.
